RCMS ZOOM MEETING – 22 OCTOBER 7.15 – 8.00 AM

It was great to welcome members from RCG5 to our zoom hui this morning, Naleen Chand RC Papatoetoe Central, Murray Browne RC Manurewa- Takanini, Mike Jaggs, Mark Graeme RC Pukekohe, and Richa our extended whānau member and district Ambassadorial Scholar.

Margi shared how the Foundation is focused on funding, enabling, and facilitating a range of programmes, partnerships, and key projects in the areas of health, homes, and education to improve the health and wellbeing within Counties Manukau, with a special emphasis on Māori and Pasifika youth.

It was also nice to hear from Julia as she took us through her Rotary/Rotaract journey from Botany to Sweden and back again! Now what could her next Rotary journey be?

As always, it is about the journey not the destination that is important so being reminded about the Kidz First -Manukau Sunrise Rotary connection from 1999, it seems we are in the right place right now for the next iteration of enacting our RCG Health project to scale up of our collective impact with the Middlemore Foundation once again.

Many thanks again to Margi and Julia for their presentation and members from our extended whanui for joining us.
