Membership and New Club Development

August is Membership and New Club Development Month and our Rotary Vision Statement reminds us that impact starts with our members:
“people like you who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting  change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves"
Our Club Central membership trends over the last 5 years tell us:
- Member numbers have continuted to fluctuate between 15-16 members
- Gender trends 9-10 Female and 6-7 Males and
- Age Trends of the 7 choosing to report show most are in the 50-60 age range with one in the 29-30 age range and significantly, none in the 30-49 age range
- Our  2023-2024 membership goal is to increase from 16 to 18 members

While these trends are reflected across many clubs we have identified some specific initiatives to potentially change these ‘trends’ based on our club strengths. In addition, we could work together to collate a list of prospective members from our personal and professional networks to join us at a meeting to hear from a guest speaker, be a guest speaker support a project and or attend an event. New people joining us enhances the club experience, expands our reach to  re-engage, retain and recruit past, present and future members. This invitation is our opportunity to inspire, motivate, educate a new group of Rotarian leaders, in fellowship and service.
