It is a pleasure to be part of our Club’s Indian New Year 2020 Charity Dinner once again.
This years charity dinner is a smaller celebration compared to the previous ones due to covid 19 uncertainties on larger gatherings and other economic factors. Nevertheless we are hoping to have a wonderful evening in raising funds for our club projects. We have a Indian New Year Committee assisting with the fundraiser and celebration of the event. We are hoping support from all club members to join us for the dinner evening.
I have attached the Charity Dinner flyer which has details of the venue. The dress code is traditional or semi formal. We are hoping to give our guests good entertainment with music and dance to enjoy the evening.
The venue is restricted to 200 guests. We encourage members to contact Joyti Singh to give their names on the number of tickets that you or your friends and family require. Please do not leave this until late to confirm, as stated that the numbers are restricted due to the size of the venue.
Since the event falls on 28th November 2020, we are hoping it to be a nice sunny summer evening that can allow us to enjoy the garden area outside the dining hall. There will be a cash bar in the Garden area. We are hoping to have outside Garden entertainment as well (weather permitting). We are also hoping to have Indian instrumental music inside the Hall which has a small stage, but we do have a large dance floor to enjoy the evening with the DJ Music.
The focus this year’s INY is on the celebration of the Indian festive season and raising funds for our Club projects. For this reason we would appreciate club members and friends to provide us with some quality Raffle items in raising funds.
